The world’s largest academic database, Academic Search Premier provides full text for nearly 4,650 serials, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Updated daily.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition provides researchers, allied health professionals, nurses and medical educators with access to full-text scholarly journals focusing on many medical disciplines. It provides indexing, abstracts and full-text for hundreds of nursing and allied health journals, many of which are peer-reviewed.

INFOhio encourages adults to use the digital resources included for ages 3-5 to prepare Ohio’s early learners for school and their future. Its portals for elementary, middle, and high school students are designed to provide resources to help them understand the curriculum and find articles for research assignments.

MAS Ultra – School Edition provides full text for top high-school magazines. All full-text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). It also includes full-text biographies, primary source documents, reference books, and an image collection of more than 2 million photos, maps, flags and color PDFs.

Middle Search Plus offers ongoing full text for the most popular magazines for middle schools, including: Cobblestone, Discover, Faces, Newsweek, Ranger Rick, Scholastic Science World, Science News, Sports Illustrated, Sports Illustrated Kids, TIME, TIME for Kids, U.S. News & World Report. 

Points of View Reference Center covers hundreds of topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument) and counterpoint (opposing argument). Each topic features a Guide to Critical Analysis which helps the reader evaluate the controversy and enhances students’ ability to read critically, develop their own perspective on the issues, and write or debate an effective argument on the topic.
