The Keep It Real nonfiction book discussion group is getting into the spirit of our Summer Reading theme – “Escape the Ordinary!” – with our book for July: Marvel Comics: The Untold Story by Sean Howe. Marvel burst onto the comic scene in the early 1960s with a roster of brightly colored costumed heroes; now, more than fifty years later, they’re bestsellers and box office smashes. Join us as we discuss the book and Marvel’s meteoric rise to success on July 6 at 6:30pm in the 2nd floor Board Room.
