On Monday, June 1st, the Keep It Real nonfiction book discussion group will be talking about Yes, Chef: A Memoir by Marcus Samuelsson. Samuelsson was an Ethiopian orphan, adopted by Swedish parents, who eventually immigrated to the United States and opened several restaurants. Now a world-famous chef, his memoir charts his personal history of learning to cook and using food to connect with his cultural past. We will meet at 6:30pm in the 2nd floor Board Room.
