Join us in the Memorial Book Room for a discussion of The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg.

Children in grades K - 4 are invited to read to a certified reading therapy dog at the Main Library.  Dates are Wednesday, June 23rd and Thursday, June 24th from 10AM to 2PM both days.  A team of a dog and a handler will be in the Youth Services Department to share stories with you.  Reading times will be 15 minutes each.  Reservations are recommended due to a limited number of slots.  Walk-ins will be accepted as long as there are times available.  To reserve a reading time with a dog for either day, please call the L

Sophie the Therapy Dog and her human mom Julie will share a special Facebook Live event with us.  We will read some dog stories and find out what Sophie likes to do in the summer time, along with some tips for helping your pets stay cool and happy this summer.

Naturalist Dan Hodges from Johnny Appleseed Metroparks will be with us for a special Facebook Live event to share some of his favorite animals and animal artifacts.  Dan's virtual show-and-tells are interesting and informative.  Don't miss it!  Brought to you by JAMPD and Summer Library Club 2021: "Tails & Tales"!
