Happy National Library Week! We're celebrating with the release of 8 tablet computers which are now available to checkout for 14 days. These tablets are available on a first come, first served basis at the Ask Here desk.
Are you up for a challenge this National Library Week? Try to Escape the Library! This escape room begins with the library ghost locking you and a group of friends in an out of the way room. Use the clues and puzzles in the room to escape before you're trapped in the library overnight. Please reserve a spot for your group by calling the library at 419-228-5113 ext.128. Time slots are available on Saturday, April 15th between 10am and 12pm for teens only and from 12pm- 4pm for all age ranges.
Lisa Fagin Davis, executive director of the Medieval Academy of America, will be at the main library on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31, to answer questions and offer free verbal evaluations/appraisals of illuminated manuscripts. Davis is especially interested in manuscripts that were sold by Lima Public Library during the 1930s-50s.
